The deanery youth ministry and music fest, a dream that continues.
We arrived at the sixth edition of the Festival of music and I do not yet certain, but maybe this is the beauty of this event. Over the years I have seen many things change, I saw many alternations between team members for the deanery youth ministry, and yet every year I see the "miracle" is repeated. Young, who is campaigning for this event to succeed, who want to witness their Christian commitment, coming out from the "padding" of parishes and addressing the challenge of testimony in the street, closer contact with people of the nineteenth deanery (ie St. George and St. Sebastian in Cremano Vesuvius). And 'this is the deepest meaning of the "Music Day", to show the fellowship among young Christians working together to witness their faith, their membership of a reality that in the eyes of the common man, nowadays, may seem strange or surreal. I think that anyone reading, I can understand when I say that everyday life with its commitments rhythms and tend to "rob" a very valuable resource: time. I live in person every day struggle to recover a bit of time for me and my loved ones and what I believe. For this, I can only feel happy when I see a lot of meetings to prepare children and young people who devote so much precious time in the preparation of the feast and then a whole weekend for its performance.
We come to the details. As in the past, the festival will be divided into two distinct phases:
- On the evening of Saturday, 16/06 will be the performance of the comedy "The pills of Hercules", by young institution Landriani:
- The 17/06 days from the morning's stand will be open for youth ministry, books, planting of sweet, animation for children, Peter of wire, fishing charities, while 20 pm onwards will begin performances of the groups music.
All funds raised, as well as to finance the activities of youth ministry in the deanery next year, will also help a facility that welcomes mothers and children in Ponticelli.
