Fenestrelle The fortress is composed of three distinct strong connected by a wall about 3 km long, which is the longest in Europe and second only to the Great Wall of China. The visit inside is led by a volunteer of the association which is responsible for maintenance, was built from 1728 and inside you can see the parts its component climbing hundreds of steps (3996 of the scale covered) from the lowest point to the highest with an elevation gain of about 600 m.
