Saturday, December 4, visit the works of Hill Bevera who are just above in Ventimiglia. All of the works, built around 1939 and is part of The Insurance Sector Lower Roja, is not accessible internally, except for one of the works.
The entrance is narrow and low, forcing a crawl for a few meters before entering a corridor that leads up to a big room, probably a dormitory, where there is only one other access point at a scale chiocchiola. Two other steps are rather closed, the salt level of about 20 m. and leads to another point where there are two walled galleries too early inaccessible.
Just above the works there are remains of trenches, the visit was still interesting and has allowed us to evaluate directly the position of buildings above the valley in which they reside.
